Subject: Re: dirty tricks at auction sale

Portland, ND
There is all kinds out there, it is amazing what some people will do for a buck. I have a neighbor who bought a skidsteer at a consignment sale. He had looked at it a couple of days before, and all was fine. The day of the sale, he didn't look real close at it, as he had seen it a couple of days earlier. He ended up buying it pretty cheap, and went to load it up and it would move but the loader wouldn't lift. He brought it home and checked it over, and found a hydraulic valve that someone had moved so it was between spools. He slipped it back to the right spot, and it worked like it had a couple of days before. He said someone had to do it on purpose, there was no way it could have moved on its own.
