Does that $300k a turnkey price? Son & I priced a 108' x 8,000bph leg & drag last year. Quote was almost $500k & didn't include concrete, electrical, or crane work.,I'm almost 73 & we have several,80+ yr old landlords. Would have been nice but no way could we justify the expense. We decided we'd stay with what we have _ drive over belt conveyor feed av13":auger into a 12,000 bu wet hopperbin. From there a 10" auger going into a Top Dry & from there a 10" auger feeds 2 " roof augers to 3 Dry storage bins. Most years we will run 150 - 200,000 bu thru our settup. Leg would have saved quite a bit of time & labor but we've gotten by 10 yrs with our current settup

Turn key was 375k, including motors but no electrical controls/wire/labor. Structure and 5500bu hopper, all labor and crane included. We have minimal downspouts and the drag is only 35' long. We are doing all concrete, assembly, and building the structure ourselves (yes its engineered) to hopefully come in under 300k. Sell our existing augers, hopper bottom, and drive over and hopefully get another 20k back.

I agree, could do without. But if you had done it 10 years ago it would have cost half the money, been paid for, and you'd be enjoying it the rest of your life.
