Perhaps look into doing some work yourself. Pouring cement isn’t that hard. But it’s hard enough I’d rather not do it for a living.

Ps: it’s ok to not have a leg too. And in my opinion, I’d rather have the elder folk not run trucks.


That's with us doing all concrete plus most assembly of the structure, trunking, and bin. For the most part millwrights will be setting the thing and running downspouts. Make it closer to $400k if it was all being done for us.

I would agree but both old guys were truckers all their lives and that's where they want to be. No interest in the combine or much else and they'd be offended if I asked them to stop. You'd guess they're both 60 looking at them but getting older is still a fact of life.
