Get the leg and stage in the other things as your budget allows. It's not always possible to just do it all.
The leg is low maintenance and takes little power. The pit is nice but drag conveyors or drive over belt conveyors can be used to feed the leg. Choke feeding a dryer is the best part of the leg, eliminating two augers and simplifying the whole process.
The "pit" is a drag conveyor in a 5ft deep basement with concrete walls. It works out to about 300 bushels. Have plenty of natural drain there, and have to do it this way so the conveyor can service loadouts for bins on the opposite side of the driveway as the leg. |
