Black Hawk County, IA | Long time ago, I was jammed up needed more plow trucks and all I could find was a 1989 Chev 1500 with a 305. Put a new Western MVP V plow on it and sent it to work. Was really surprised how well it worked. The 305 was no speed demon, but it never broke traction either. Cranked the front torsion bars up, and it never missed a day. Probably wouldn’t recommend it today, but we moved away from pickup plows about 10 years ago. | |
