North central MO | All these replies saying use a grinder mixer, oh hell NO there all junk. Spend more time working on them than grinding.( maybe 20-30) years ago.
I just feeding shelled corn 20% moisture in tmr. My nutritionist says at $5 corn you’re only losing .20 cents a bushel in feeding it shelled.
My future plans are electric mill, roller hanging in the rafters of commodity shed, filled directly from small grain bin by a electric 6in auger. | |
