| I'm a Chevrolet guy but I went from, diesel to gas 3 trades ago. Can't speak for Ford but in the Chevrolets there is a 3 MPG difference in diesel and gas under my driving conditions. In my calculations that is 16% less MPG and right now diesel is 26% higher at the pump on average ( around here). So I save 10% on my fuel bill every time I fill up. Gas will NOT tow with a diesel but for what I tow gas works fine. Here is proof.
