That's cheap. I checked the price for a lift cylinder for the M&W 1165 yesterday. The cylinder alone was over $1500.
That’s kinda the thing. I have bought a few pieces for SLJ farm. It’s 17 miles each way. Having an older 30’ spring-tooth, $300 hyd drag left there. Pays for itself before 2nd year. I drive tractor with disc, or whatever tillage I want. I have to go right thru a small town, cross an almost major highway. So who cares if fold leaks a. Couple cups of oil? I just leave it folded down as Ram rusty. So $400? At least for new cylinder? Plus soil there is sandy. It wears stuff fast. Why wear good stuff that’s needed for better soils? |
