McCanna, ND | I have one machine setup with just the wider 28 degree kiles and one setup with 10 degree over the first concave and 28 degree kiles over the 2nd. The 2nd machine is my favorite setup. I run the vanes progressively faster on the 2nd machine, 1st 2-3 vanes are slow, next few are medium speed and rear of grate area is fast.
The 2nd machine has been eating 6’ tall green stem canola and it takes it well. Probably almost as tough of conditions as flax. | |
