I think you’ll need to pull them in. Oil up the threads and use a couple good flat washers behind the nut so you don’t run out of threads and you should be able to pull them into the hub until they stop.

A hydraulic puller would be great or a thrust bearing behind the nut but I expect you can get them with just the nut and washers.


Yes indeed, that is what I was thinking. Use 4-5 big structural washers, a heavy nut and really good thread lube in the washers and on the threads to pull the new one in. Knocking the old out is what I envision being the more challenging part.
