NW VA | My normal practice is blowing off with a 185 cfm compressor, daily or as needed, then pressure wash the exterior panels approx. once a year.
As far as appearance goes, is there an approved way of keeping the exterior in at least semi-decent looking shape during harvest? It seems like corn dust makes the panels nearly black within a few days, and I find pressure washing a pain to reach the high spots, especially the unloading auger. I'm not known for being OCD about cleaning, but just wondering if I'm missing any obvious solutions? |
