| Aside from the interior they're pretty much the normal GM parts bin special. The chassis is shared with the 6th Gen Camaro and the drivetrain is generic GM as well. I wouldn't be terribly afraid of one.
I had a '12 SRX that was dead reliable up until we sold it at 145k. We now have a '19 XT4 that is still pretty young at 40k, but it did have a small list of issues that I would say were beyond normal expectations. However, it is also the first model year of a totally new platform sooo... expectations were met. I think to date it has needed an electric brake booster replaced, one oxygen sensor, an evap purge pump, and a timing chain tension replaced; the last two being common issues for the first year of this new 2.0T engine that your ATS won't have.
