Those above that say a garage-type door is cheaper, I question that. I found the Hydroswing to be less than 2/3 the cost of an insulated overhead garage door. We have less than $6000 in our 34' door, compared to about $10,000 for an insulated 30' overhead garage door. Yes, you can buy a smaller garage door for less, but that kinda defeats the purpose of the wide opening. And the garage door and the bi-folds take up alot of headroom. The hydroswing takes 5" of headroom.
We made ours 34' to have plenty of room with a 30' head. Three months after we installed it, Deere came out with the 35' head! ;-( | |
