I hate to hear they discontinued it. The John Deere 4630 sprayer will NOT fit the need for most people that liked the 6000, 6500, and 6700 series. Those sprayers were everywhere in the southeast. The 4 wheel sprayers don't offer the clearance or maneuverability that the original hi-cycles have. It will probably make the old 3 wheelers worth more than ever. I think Deere made a mistake, but I doubt it will hurt them much. They seem to weather mistakes better than most.
Rafe- If I am reading your posts right in this thread, in your neck of the woods, a lightweight, high-clearance, 4-wheel steer machine would probably meet your needs? What kind of capacity do you desire? Or does it come down to loaded weight?
