The following is part of an e-mail response that I recieved this morning from product support at John Deere. I guess it answers that question
"The 6700 finished its last run in Nov 2009 - it is done ; forever to be a legendary sprayer series ( the "6000" series ). The model 4630 replaced it .....it is already in production with a good first run already scheduled."
