EC SoDak | Haven’t started planting anything yet. We had a handful of of really warm days that helped get snow to melt pretty dang fast that ran off the fields probably 10-12 days ago. Since it’s been colder than average. I did grab 1” of rain mid week which was nice since the snowmelt didn’t soak in.
The first picture has the 10 day (through May 2) that makes it look like nothing will go in during that timeframe. The weather channel app (second pic) goes a little further out and that shows it warming up closer to average starting May 3, but that’s getting pretty far out there. If that holds true, that’d probably be roughly when I’d start if another cold spell doesn’t show up as we get closer. The trend so far has been colder as we get closer to a date that shows a warmup. However, we are getting closer to the time of year when “cold” is still warm enough to get stuff done.
