SE Iowa | Had equipment issues so only planted 3 days the week of the 10th. Then didn’t plant a thing the following week though if was fit to go 3 days last week here. Forecast turned too cold and got nervous. Should be fit to go Monday here again. Corn 50%, Beans 0% planted. I suppose we plant the rest of the corn this week then switch to beans for next? Seems really cold but conditions are good. Dig up week of the 10th corn yesterday. It’s all sprouted but not very big. Still a little nervous to go this week but 10-15 day outlook turns much warmer. | |
