We have had problems since we bought it new with mice getting into the cab. We have changed cabin filters numerous times and have looked for places where they can get in. The cab is kept very clean and they always are in there. They even make go into the center console. We have tried both parking it in and also parking inside. We are at wits end and dad is wanting to get rid of it just because of this. Has anyone else had troubles and found a solution to keeping them out.

They enter thru the sides of the firewall. There is a rubber flap on each side of the firewall under the windshield. The mice can push the rubber flap open and enter the area above the cab fan.
I have 2016 that they chewed thru the filter and into the cab. I had a mouse die 24" back behind the dash in the vent. Had to get a inspection camera and a flexible grabber to get it out. They got in my wife's tahoe also. I made a wire mesh to replace the rubber flaps. Tough area to see. You almost need to feel for the flaps.

May take a little while, but start putting mouse traps under the hood and in the area where you park over night. I had a brand new 2000 GMC sierra that was invaded. A week of mouse trapping, pretty much took care of the problem.
Seems early in the season for mice to move in to places like that, usually gets bad around hard frosts/early snow.
