Does anyone have any experience with a Deweze super slicer? I am having issues feeding bermuda hay and second cutting fescue with my pickup hay bed.. This short hay doesnt unroll just ends up in a huge pile when the net is removed. I have been feeding some cattle in hay rings but that is making a bigger mess to clean up later. I prefer to feed with my haybuster behind tractor but some cattle are too far from home. Guess my question is....does the sickle cut the hay well enough? Or does it just plug up and stop cutting?

They work great. We use ours to feed teff grass. It's very fine stem. Works the best if you feed the bale through it opisit the way it was baled. Then it just kind of unrolls however thick you have it set. Really doesn't cut the grass that much.

Also the teff bales do the same as you described when trying to unroll with the pickup.
