Wi | dmax08 - 2/26/2015 22:31 If you're doing any heavy dirt work or pushing, neither one is the winner. Deere and Takeuchi have that wrapped up. For around the farm, those machines are probably pretty equal, although the Kubota controls are a lot more responsive. Bobcat hasn't figured out how to make their controls real accurate. Very sluggish even on the brand new ones compared to Takeuchi for sure and Kubota to a lesser degree. Bobcat has service virtually everywhere tho so there is something to be said for that.
Kubota and Tak both use Pilot controls so they will be more responsive and feel more in tune than the EH style control on other machines that are either standard (Cat C/D, JCB/Volvo) or optional (Bobcat SJC, Deere, CNH, etc ). Nice thing about EH though is the pattern changer. If all you have are EH machines you don't notice the difference, its when you jump between pilot and EH that you notice the difference. Most machines allow you to adjust the response of the controls, but its still not quite the same, they have come a long ways though over the years, the improvement from our 262C and 262C2 to the 262D is big, almost too responsive now.
