Need some input here from you guys up in the Dakotas&Sandhills here in nebraska. Purchased a 16x28 Lahman stackmover back in 1988&its always been nothing but a problem even when it wasn't loaded to its 10ton capacity don't think it was ever built heavy enough to begin with, constant axle&hub hitch&frame failures its got welded on more times than you can shake a stick at, move every thing from the big ole round stacks, loaf stacks, round bales,&big squares. Tired of messing with it! Theorectically speaking here whats the best stack mover on the market guys? Need your inputs, in the market for another big mover, there are still some places out side of haulin hay with a semi that a stackmover is needed! Fire away!

Call larry in Butte, I dont see hes got any cravens in stock but he rebuilds them and makes them as good as new or better. If not he sells new ones cant think of the name (Lorenze) but are really pretty heavy. 402 775 2497

Leola SD

Take a look at Kramer Manufacturing.  They look to be simple and built pretty well. Built in Nebraska.

Thanks for the info frank l may have to give him a call, never laid eyes on a craven mover built pretty heavy are they? As trev33 states maybe a kramer, called him the other day up in atkinson, Says he rates his movers at 25 to 27 ton, durst double reduction gear box I guess with a pto drive, 8 bolt hubs walking tandems been awhile since I laid eyes on a kramer. Got some propaganda on the 18 ton lorenz this afternoon looks like a good heavy mover, 16x33 asking price $25,200, Kramer says $25,000 on his 25 ton mover, Lahmans new mover 16x28 or 16x33, asking $18,000&$20,000 respectively & these newer Lahmans don't look to be built any heavier than our old Hydrualic drive 16x28. As the gentleman from alliance stated framhands, yes that movers built like a brick house, damn good ole mover, 3 neighbors have them they've all come from out in the sandhills area&are in tip top shape obviously, not much use, They got lucky! tryin to find one of them ole girls in any kinda shape anymore is like tryin to find a needle in a haystack!
