Subject: Installing Levee Gates (17 Pics)

Qulin, MO
Took these a couple weeks ago while putting the levee gates in the rice. Then a few of installing the boards to hold back the water a few days later.

Hula Manufacturing in Hazen, AR makes them. It is called a Gate-a-minute. We used to put them in with a mini front loader, but this is way faster. We borrowed one for a few years, then in '08 I bought the last one they had made that year, and drove down to Hazen to haul it home.

The only thing I modified was adding the basket on it to carry the gates.

Your levee gate tractor is much nicer than ours! I bought my Gate-a-Minute out of a junkyard for $350. Needed some work on the big blade but its still going strong. Ours has a basket also but not as big as yours.
