WC Iowa
Any suggestions on where to get a decent large external scale display that can be mounted on the side of the cart so the combine can see it day or night so I can relieve the cart guy from having to watch the scale as we dump on the go to get a truck load and also so we dont have to keep asking how much he needs to be full. The carts have the standard digistar scale on it now.

SAC now carries a nice digital led display. Something later me 12" long maybe? Easy to see.

go with a wireless remote in the cab of the combine.
you can zero your cart from there.

I thought it would be nice also, until I priced the Scale Tec option from the dealer, for $800 we haven't bought one yet.

As others say...Scale-Tec in Iowa. Here's link to their remote display, often referred to as "scoreboards":

We have one on the side of our Brent cart & it works great. We used large round magnets to attach it.

I’ve got a display in the combine cab, much cheaper option when I did mine.

Have you thought about going to the libra system? Lot more options with it for record keeping.

Or Scaletech REAP. REAP would probably be cheaper than an indicator on the side of the cart and would have as many remote displays as there are Bluetooth capable phones/tablets on your farm.

I had Agrimatics Libra until a month ago. Added a second cart and it was going to be cheaper to put REAP on both carts than to put Agrimatics on the new cart so I figured I would put REAP on both and sell my Agrimatics unit. Haven't done a ton with it yet but it seems as good as Agrimatics so far. It is unpleasant having to have both the Digistar Scale head and the iPad in the cab though.

Do you have a link to your ad? I searched it but nothing came up with your name on it.
