Treynor IA | We bought a new Subaru Outback with all the bells and whistles. We went on a 2 hour trip and hooked my cell phone to it to use the mapping feature on the center console. When we got to our destination I unhooked the cell phone and it was almost hot enough to fry an egg. What would cause this? I do have an Otter box protective case on the phone, would this keep it from cooling? It doesn't seem to have damaged the phone. Edit: I forgot to add it is a LG android phone.
