Subject: John Deere utility tractor brake dragging

I have a new to me 2355. I had it jacked up one side at a time to change the rear wheels. The left wheel spun freely, the right wheel I could not turn by hand. I spread fertilizer on a few acres with the tractor tonight and the right side brake housing is definitely warmer than the left. What would cause the brake to drag like that? Also I should mention that the right brake works good for turning, but the pedal goes to near the end of the travel. I did clean out the right side equalizer check ball on the bottom of the brake valve and everything looked good in there.
