Lots of concern on this sight about the Democrats taking the farm.

My dad did a very successful farm transition. He managed to start 1 of his kids and 2 of his son in laws farming. Full blown making a good living. Both of the SIL were city kids.

The key is he didn’t wait until he died.

If you want to keep it all until the nail is drove into the coffin it’s going to be hard for the next generation.

If you are willing to give up control when you are younger it will be easier for the next generation.

Instead of buying the quarter down the road when you are 50, help your 25 year old son buy it. This will help put off taxes for an extra 25 years minimum.

2 cents from a random internet user.
