2021 marks 41 years for me playing a 5 string banjo. For 38 of those years, I have been playing the same banjo, a great banjo too. When I bought the instrument, I was told by good intentioned, reliable folks that it was a Gibson and a prewar banjo. Back then information and knowledge regarding the old prewar Gibson banjos was scarce and I knew nothing about them. I bought the banjo, pretty much knew it wasn't a Gibson and/or prewar, except for maybe a one or two pieces. Fast forward to 2020 and the internet age, I thought I would like to find out the truth regarding my trusty banjo. The video link is the final part of a 3 part series.
