In this old house I live in I had the pipes freeze right next to the foundation once before and tonight is supposed to be -10 or below. I have a little propane heater but I’m worried about the bottom of the floor getting too hot and possibly catching fire as the distance between the heater and the wood is maybe 1.5 feet.
Is it safe to put a space heater under the house (crawl space)?
