Central Alberta | A few years back , I gave a talk at a seminar bout all the quackery "miracle" treatments for crops that always seemed to cost around $15 an acre. It was generally well-received, except by a few farmers who were heavily invested in such "magic dust." They let me know in no uncertain terms. Also, unknown to me, one of the sponsors of the seminar was one of those "magic dust" companies who took exception to my talk and I had to suffer the fallout from the boss over it. I can see why so many ag-specialists choose to be wishy-washy about some of their advice. | |
