I used to take a handful of pills.  I never had any problems doing it and can't understand people that can eat steak or a lot of other things without a problem but can't swallow an aspirin.

I now take several Metamucil capsules each day because it lowers cholesterol.  I don't know if it matters or not but it does keep the doctor happy.

I never have a problem but the other day my wife had washed some dishes and used hot water.  I didn't notice and filled my glass with the hot water to take the caps.  Like normal I took a drink with the caps in my mouth, my first swallow is just water and then my second is with water and caps.  I was surprised that they seemed to go down almost unnoticed.  I tried it again today and same result.

Kind of like eating cookies and coffee or donuts and coffee.

Worth experimenting if you have problems I think.
