Subject: Ethanol and Gasoline Demand fall to 5 month lows.

The Economy is slowing as Ethanol supplied for Domestic Blending at 813 k bbls/day is down 116 k bbls/day vs a year ago's 929 k bbls/day.  The Crop year to date average is down 9.7% while Gasoline supplied is also down 8.1%

These are the lowest values since Last June when we were coming out of Lockdowns.

Ethanol production at 962 k bbls/day is down 6.1% on the total for the crop year vs 2019/20's and the year ago number of 1,033 k bbls/day.

Even at that slow of a grind ethanol inventory is now rising to 20,203 k bbls

Implied exports are also down about 5.2% with total demand down 9.1%

Since 9/1/20 the total ethanol grind is down 69 million bushels vs the WASDE's expected increase of 200 million bushels.  Again Last year's poor performance was due to the lockdowns last spring which cut Ethanol production in half.. However, this slowdown.. is really starting to bite now.. I don't see how the WASDE doesn't cut the grind at this point.. 5,050 myn bushels /52 weeks = 97.12 myn bushels per week.. The Grind has to average something like 941 k bbls/day to achieve that solely from Corn...   ????  Which we are not doing..

The ethanol blend rate at 9.85% is down 0.8% vs 9.94% this time a year ago.

UGLY!!
