Subject: weaned calf's ears


Spring Ranch, NE
I have a march born steer that's been weaned a month. His ears are folding up and cupping forward. They almost look like they have just been frozen. Gave synovex choice implant at weaning, wondering if that is the cause. Has been on free choice grass hay and 6# rolled corn with .8# of protein in it.

I think I recall someone posting the same issue a few years ago, but I'm not getting the search function to do anything for me. Thanks
