Subject: Combine upgrade time. CIH or NH??

Central ND
A little background. Ran 14xx case combine all the way through the 2388 then jumped into a CR9070. We are about 50% spring wheat and the remainder is shared between soybeans and sunflowers.

Now it's time to think about upgrading/trading as we will be over 3700 engine hours after this season and wouldn't mind a little more capacity. Would be looking at the Class 9 combines. CR9090 or Case 9120/9230. Have no complaints and love our NH but combine availability in our area seems limited. Also seems the dealer moves less and less NH combines. Have a great service tech that knows the NH machines very well as there used to be quite a few around. And haven't had any trouble getting parts. But seems CNH doesnt push NH machines much.

Anybody ran both the flagship Case machines and the CRs? Have read lots of negative about Case chopper issues and other things but dont hear much bad about the CR.

Im pretty familiar with the mechanics of the Case such as the CVT rotor, etc.

But lay out any experiences for me. Pros, Cons, etc. Please leave other brands out of this discussion as they ARE NOT an option. Thanks.
