Subject: Untreated VNS Wheat Seed versus Treated Seed

West Middletown
Here in southwest ohio fully treated Seed Wheat is going for $20 per 50lb.

Untreated VNS (Variety Not Stated) is $15 per 50lb. Same price as Cereal Rye.

Planning on planting a wheat crop this fall, as soon as, I can get my beans off. Never planted wheat before but I figure it's as good as anything for a winter cover and I can harvest the grain to help pay for it.

Is it worth $5 more for a full blown seed treatment on a known variety?
