Subject: Top dress or not?

Southeast Ohio
130 ac field planted June 2,3. CEC 9-14. OM 3%.

I applied 200 lbs of urea, 400 lbs of DAP, giving me 164 lbs of actual N all pre plant

This is all old hay ground and some old pasture, all full tillage this year. Planted 80 of the 130 acres last season otherwise ground was fallow.

I was planning on top dressing 150 lbs of Urea, but since full tillage and decent Organic Matter ( mostly 3% but sone areas 4-5%) will I get a sufficient amount of N from the mineralization of the OM to produce let’s say 200 bu corn?

I’m just looking to reduce input cost because last year 40 ac of this ground produced nothing - even after replant, too wet. I don’t have crop insurance so those dollars spent last season are history

Bottom line: could I get a reasonable return on investment if I apply another 10 ton of urea?????
