east central ND | I have never had a huge crop loss. Just some PP and maybe a small revenue claim over the years. I started thinking about all the crop insurance premiums I have paid cash for over the years. This year with quite a few acres of prevent plant I will get a bunch back. Maybe break even for the last 10 years.
Buuuuuuttttt I am no where close to dipping into all the $$$ amount of subsidies have been covered/paid by the government to cover my “total” bill. If the government did pay all those subsidies to the insurance company for my policy over the years, dang, the insurance company has made bank on me over the years. Or is it the government just covers the re-insurance through RMA. Someone is making $$$, not me.
Now if that adjuster would stop by so I can start waiting at the mailbox............... | |
