McComb, Ohio | Have a 550 pound holstein feeder calf that has trouble getting up on its front feet. Back legs are fine but then gets up onto its front knees and has to think about it for a few minutes before it gets up and seems to have trouble flipping its hoof out straight. Then it walks and stands funny with its front legs spread wide. But if you jump in the pen fast it gets up in a hurry and if you run it around it looks perfectly fine until it starts walking again. Been doing this for a month now and it doesn't seem to be gaining weight or getting better. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks in advance for any replies. Its just on whole corn and pellets with a little clover hay.
