Subject: Ideas on catching runaway fish

Reno Co KS
I'm trying to catch some grass carp that escaped from our pond and are now in a small spillway. The water is clear so you can see them. We've tried bread on hooks and snagging with no luck. Tried using a sane (sp?) net but it's to small. I thought about using electricity but not sure if we can take a battery and toss in some cables or... I've got a 24 volt generator off a 4020, not sure if there's any options there. I don't want to hurt them, just get them moved. Not really excited about electric fishing or the legality is Kansas. Probably going to shy away from explosives too, lol. There are other fish in the pool too. Thanks for any thoughts.
