I'm trying to put a ceiling in a shop that used to be a corn crib. The guys that used to do this kind of work for me got jobs that require them full time and they have kids that are into lots of activities.
So far I've got about 80% of the rafters up but once I get them all up I would like to have somebody with more skill put up plywood or steel panel for the ceiling.
The graphic below is a sketchup of the proposed ceiling. 30' x 8' on the one side then 16' x 18' in the middle and 18' x 8' on the other side. As you can see it's all tied together.
I just wondered if the Amish did or would do something like that.
