West Central Wisconsin | Ordered some sausage seasonings on-line from "The Sausage Maker" and Hi Mountain wieners and thought this might be a good time to try them out. I made some bulk breakfast sausage, fresh brats and fresh pepper sausage. I smoked snack sticks, wieners, Kielbasa, and Texas hot links by adding some heat to the Kielbasa. I haven't tried the fresh sausage yet but am very pleased with the smoked meats. I discovered there is a big difference in the flavor of the pre-mixed Kiebasa and that of the recipe from the "Sausage Maker" book with the book being better.
