Subject: planting soybeans with grain drill ?

Sw Wisconsin
Have a bad piece of ground that won't canopy very good. So i am looking at going to grain drill to get it to shade faster to cover up the weed pressure. Does anybody have any dos or don'ts? It is a John Deere 750 no till drill. I usually plant right after my corn so that way it is put in early.

Any input would be great.

Thanks

Dan
