West Central Indiana | We are pretty old school when it comes to soil sampling. Have always done it by the old USDA soil type maps standing in a field holding the book hoping we were close to the right spot! My 69 year old dad actually does the sampling...he enjoys being in the field on the Polaris ranger doing it. So last year I tried Field View out for the first time and turned him loose with an Ipad so he could bring up the soil type map background and see his map dot. He loved it! Now after the whole Tillable.com thing this winter I'm not sure I want to go back to using Field View. Is there another app out there that I can bring up soil type maps with and use my map dot on the Ipad for location?
