NW ILLINOIS | Lots of progress!
Got the D/H/M displaying on various screens correctly
Got the display mounted on box
Got various settings able to be stored and retrieved automatically
in the event of a power failure
Got new PCB, and adding terminal strips, and transistor to drive relay.
Got new keypads, but found them with the I2C board all ready mounted
saves connections.
Waiting on dual voltage power supply 120 / 220.
Waiting on PCB terminal strips
Got various holes laid out so the mounting plate can be drill in my cnc mill.
Some info on the net says the EEPROM on the Arduino doesn't have a
very long life, but if I write the settings once every hour it has a 11 year life.
Not to mention I can move the data write to alternate addresses.
As soon as I have stuff mounted and tidy ed I will post some pictures.
There can be lots of approaches to this, but this is just one idea.
