EVO 2 that was intro'd @ CES looks to be good competition to DJI Mavic Pro. 

40 minutes flight time in forward flight. 30 minutes hover. 9km range (that would be about 4.5 miles if you don't like metric wrenches!), Lidar availability, IR cameras, 8K video, 48 mp still photos!!!!! The 4.5 mile range is of course beyond legalities in most cases, but is used to express the range power of control. You should have better view with longer range ability, even when only 1/2 mile away.
