How many horsepower does one need to comfortably pull a 24 row planter? Relatively flat fields with a few hills, wouldn't go over 4 mph. I have an 8420 that I was thinking about pairing it with but wasn't sure if that was sufficient or not. Probably looking at a Kinze 3800, mechanical meters, liquid, row cleaners, etc. Do I need more HP to pull it?
