near dyersville iowa | old 1360 deere discbine may have run out of life. Not making much hay anymore, but still want to cut it myself. 50 acres max. 4x year. mostly alfalfa. found a used 8309 caseih discbine cheap. but for same price i can probably find a newer disc mower(without conditioner), or a drum mower(also without conditioner). was wondering if anyone in the midwest got by cutting without a conditioner on the mower. Seems like you would need one, or at least a tedder? give me you opinions. | |
