staffa ontario | Sprayed some beans just before lunch today and on my way home I run on to a funeral procession so I pulled over into the ditch and got out of the sprayer removed my hat to show respect. Funeral was for a young man 30 I think who passed away suddenly. He did custom spraying, planting and custom harvesting. His family is mennonite and the procession was long (well over a mile long) with cars from all over Michigan, Oklahoma, Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia to name a few. My question is do you stop for a funeral? When my mother passed away the traffic was terrible cutting in and out of the procession. The only ones showing respect was a couple farmers that stopped planting and got out of their tractors and took off their hats and stood there until everyone passed. Seeing that really struck me and I try to be like them.
