SE Wisconsin | We have a piece of ground (15 acres or so) that is consistently wet until mid June. One part of it is under water probably half the year and has cat tails growing in it. I decided to plant it all into grasses/clovers and some alfalfa on the higher spots. Hoping I can take a cutting of hay off it in fall this year, and eventually fence it all in for pasture this fall.
Do you think it is ok to fence in the entire area including the really wet/cat tail area, or should I fence around the wettest area to avoid any real problems with cows going in there.
The wet spot will dry out depending on weather.... | |
