Garden City Ks | With the lack of heat units, who thinks our so called good corn is in trouble? I’ve got corn planted 5-17 to 6-5. The last stuff you could row this morning. The 5-17 is going to have to get after it to make it knee high by the 4th of July. Maybe I’m jumping the gun and being impatient(it wouldn’t be the first time”.I guess if the weather warmed up I’d quit worrying I can’t believe how quick the ground dried out I finished planting Soybeans today and a good rain would be just perfect to get a good stand. So things change quickly if you get busy not worrying about it. | |
