central PA | I am putting up a canopy roof sitting on top of big blocks. The roof weight will be minimal. Big boy blocks of 2ftx2ftx8ft will be stacked 3 high for the walls They weigh 2tons each. My idea is to pour a 6 inch slab, 3500psi, on top of 6 inches of stone. The walls will be 3 big boy blocks high. That would be 6 tons spread over 16 square feet along the edge of the building. The interior floor will have to handle tri axles of 36tons. No rebar planned. Cutting the floor into 10ftx20ft sections to help control stress. I can't find calculators on the internet. The building will be used for storing chicken litter. Is the concrete strong enough?? Or lead me to a calculator. Thanks |
